  I'm reluctant to review this place of secluded magnificence, mainly because everyone will then know about a hitherto well kept secret. Incredible views, cosy but spacious mountain lodge vibe, cool fresh air, super comfortable rooms, great dining, and staff that seem collectively able to make things magical, are all intrinsic. The setting and treatment provided to my reuniting group of life-long friends last weekend was fantastic. Some of us are going back this weekend!!   My partner and I chose to have our wedding here and we had the most amazing night. The staff are just so helpful and made planing the whole event easy and stress free. The views are Clear Mountain Lodge are breathtaking and when we had the ceremony we had the most beautiful view. The food is fantastic also, every one of our guests told us how good it was at the reception and even when they had lunch in the restaurant. Every room with a view, I don't say that often, but after checking out a few of our other guests rooms, I can confirm it is true. In conclusion, if you want a fantastic, fun, easy going wedding that is stress free wedding Clear Mountain Lodge is a must for you to look at. When my wife and I where looking at venues for our wedding this was no where near the top of the list we made of places to check out, but after only being here for 5mins on our initial trip we fell in love with the place, especially the views and we are so happy the we chose Clear Mountain Lodge for our wedding 6/5

  Very nice location. The staff was very helpful. It was very busy the day before so it seemed like they were trying to catch up a bit but made any accomodations we asked for. Lovely gardens to look at and the food is delicious.

  A beautiful, hidden retreat, nestled in amongst the trees atop clear mountain only a stone's throw from Brisbane city. The perfect weekend getaway spot. It's a hotel, typical of the mercure chain but it's the location you visit for. I do recommend a meal in the restaurant. The food here is exceptional. The breakfast buffet is good too, among the best I've had at a hotel. And for a bit extra, I got a proper coffee. Most of the other reviews I've read about this place have been unduly harsh. It's a hotel like any other. Yes, byo pillow if you're fussy. Yes, the birds will steal your food if you're not careful and book in early if you want to dine in the restaurant cos it's popular. But take in the atmosphere of this place. It's beautiful. Well worth the visit.
